National Association of Veterans and Families, Inc. (NAVF) is a 501(c)3 non-profit service organization incorporated in the state of Florida in 2008. NAVF was organized for the purpose of providing direct assistance regarding better living and health services for American forgotten veterans, their surviving spouses and families by operating a veteran’s support center.
Sorting through papers and VA bureaucracy can be overwhelming to many veterans and their spouses, and family members. Veterans and Families in particular, have special needs to consider. First, the veterans are not always aware of benefits for which they-or- their spouses are eligible. The process can be complicated with finding old documents/medical records, getting new paperwork, and overcoming numerous bureaucratic obstacles. The process without help can take months and years for claims to make their way through the VA. Patience- and- plenty of time is needed, something that many of the elderly veterans don’t have. NAVF’s charge is to shepherd the veterans through the complicated paperwork and appeals system of the Veterans Administration quickly and efficiently.
It is with great pride that we are able to shepherd our nation’s veterans, spouses and families receive the benefits that they so richly deserve. The appreciation we receive from the forgotten veterans that we help may seem like a small thing to some people but to our staff, it is the greatest reward.
We owe our country’s freedom to our forgotten veterans and their families, “who have kept the home fires burning”. That debt doesn’t stop when the war is over- it continues from one generation to the next. God Bless America! God Bless our troops! God Bless our Veterans!
